The success story of TATSAN HELVA starts with the immigration of Salih Usta , from Macedonia to Turkey.
Salih Usta, who was a very known master of sweets and halva making, settles in Kırklareli and takes the surname Kadaifçi (the kadayıf sweet maker) because of the passion for his profession.
In 1974, the family started to manufacture Halva and other traditional sorts of confectionery products under the brand name TATSAN.
After Salih Usta passed away, his sons Ismet, Rasim and Tahsin continued the business with the same passion as their father. Since that time , TATSAN has grown to become a company that is known for quality and innovation.
Caramel Halva with Walnuts, Soft Nougat Range, Instant Semolina Halva and Traditional Turkish Cookies with Butter & Almonds were all developed and introduced to the Turkish and international markets by TATSAN.
TATSAN’s production facilities are located in Kırklareli, 200km from Istanbul. 5000 square meters factory has BRC certificate. TATSAN export department is located in Istanbul.
TATSAN products are marketed in Turkey, nationwide through a variety of marketing channels, like supermarket chains, individual retailers, airport and border crossing Duty Free shops. TATSAN also produces and markets goods under private label. Exports are on a constant rise and mainly targeting countries such as the USA, Germany, France, Holland, the UK and Australia.
